How it works
The current delivery service platforms, where you place the order with them on either their website or mobile app. You may possibly pay higher prices for items, delivery fees, convenience fess, plus any tip/gratuity. While it is easier to use such an all in one (order, pay and delivery), ultimately you may pay 20%-40% or higher for that convenience and/or receive poor service, long waits, undesirable delivery person or worst case nothing at all.
How is OMG Delivery Services Different
You place your order at local restaurant's using their website/mobile app. You get your items at reg. menu prices (no third party markups or fees). Plus, you get any program offers/rewards from the restaurant by ordering directly with them.
After paying for your order, you then use this website for pickup and delivery request forms. You have 2 options. First option being COD (Cash on Delivery) or Second option to pay by credit card. With either option, we do pickup & deliveries on your behalf for a standard delivery fee plus any tip/gratuity you wish to add.
***Contact free Delivery is available option, but only with prepayment No COD***

Before placing a request
Please note, we do not do pickups from certain restaurant's in the Boone area. So we will not accept order request from these restaurant's.

Understand that any disputes with the restaurants (ie wrong item, missing items*, special requests not fulfilled) they are be between you and the restaurant for refund or other compensation. Are services are to only pick up orders and deliver to the location you requested.
*Any issues that occur because of our neglect (failure to pick up ie Drinks, items spilled or damaged in transit) We will do what we can immediately to correct, such as replacing items immediately.
Placing a pickup/delivery request does not guarantee that such request will be accepted for fulfillment. While we will try to accept all request, there are several reason a request will not be accepted (ie pickup location on no pick up list, no tip/gratuity given, request was during non operating hours and distance). We reserve the right to accept or decline order requests in the examples given but are not limited to those examples.
You can always place a pickup/delivery request prior to placing your restaurant order. Once an pickup/delivery request is placed and accepted you will get a text notification, "thanking you for placing your order". Your food order should then be placed immediately for prompt pickup.
FEE'S & PAYMENTS
We basically have just one fee, delivery fee. Our delivery fee currently is $3.00 (from pickup location to delivery location) for up to 2.5 miles then an additional $1.00 for each mile thereafter. Tips/gratuity are at your discretion.
COD (Cash on Delivery) will be collected at time of drop-off, accepted payment forms will be cash or payment via Zelle, checks are not accepted at anytime. Please note driver will carry limited cash (approx. $10) this is for driver safety so they can't break $50-$100 bills. So if COD please have as close to amount as possible or Zelle payment must be used.
Credit/Bank Card we use a third party Stripe to secure & process these payments, we do not have access or maintain any card payment information.

Certain restaurants such as Chix-Fil-a may require you to press or acknowledge you have arrived at store for your order to be prepared. Please ensure you do this, once you receive notification your pickup request has been accepted. If not, we can not guarantee/ensure fulfillment of your request and your request maybe cancelled without further consideration.

For a burger place "3 meal combos with drinks". A pizza place "2 lg pizzas and 2ltr of dr. pepper." Of course if delivery driver has any questions about the order they may text or call.

Delivery Updates and availbility
Normal Delivery hours are Monday-Friday 7am-2pm. If there is inclement weather or personal issues. A forum post will be placed to reflect any changes to day to day operations.

OMG (Old Man Gig) Delivery Services is a locally owned and operated business ran by TIm Sweet a USAF veteran with over 30 years in providing excellent customer service and care. My business model is to provide food and other delivery services with a focus to other business's and working professionals. I take great pride and care providing outstanding customer service with a personal touch and professionalism.
